Customer brought in a brand new Toshiba laptop on which the Intel
Wireless Display (WiDi) was giving a missing DLL error almost
immediately when launched.

The Toshiba recommeded fix is to uninstall the Intel Proset drivers,
then reinstall them.

We tried this, but after rebooting it still gave the same error when
launching WiDi. So we uninstalled all the Intel software – WiDi,
Proset wireless, WiMax drivers, the management interface, and the
display drivers. We rebooted, and started reinstalling everything one
by one, testing after each new install.
The basic process went like this:

*Install Wifi and Wireless Display
** WiDi did not give DLL error, but said it was connected to an
incompatible router
*Install Display Drivers
** WiDi did not give DLL error, but said it was connected to an
incompatible router
*Installed Intel Management Software
** WiDi did not give DLL error, but said it was connected to an
incompatible router
*Installed WiMax
** No DLL error or incompatible router error
